ELRS Simulator Dongle - Meet Squid Stick
Share
What is Squid Stick?
Squid Stick is a USB Simulator Dongle for ELRS. It is a combination of an Arduino and ELRS receiver to provide a low-latency and cord free simulator experience.
This is a new product we are providing for existing ELRS users such as RadioMaster TX16 or FrSky users with ELRS module.
What simulators does it work for ?
We have tested this with Heli-X and AccuRC without any issues, just follow your simulator instructions to setup your transmitter and perform the calibration.
CGM Next does work but it requires a little tweaking to channels 1-8 to work properly. If you look at your input monitor and the sliders are bouncing around all over the place and not stable or disappearing it means something is wrong with the signal.
How to fix it ?
Repeat this for every output channel
Set subtrim to +50%, and set min endpoint to 0
Once you have done this the input monitor will stop bouncing around and you can proceed with the calibration and transmitter setup procedure.
How much do they cost?
We are selling these for $39.99 plus S&H
What colors will you have?
Will we offer black case with red board at this time. Future more color options.
Can I flash it with ELRS Configurator or Web Flasher?
I prefer web flasher as it's more easier :)

Does it work with other simulators?
It should work with other simulators that support USB gamepad interfaces. But I have only tested this with Heli-X, CGM Next, and AccuRC2.
