Warranty Policy
1. GENERAL WARRANTY POLICY
New England RC LLC does not provide any independent product warranty unless explicitly stated in writing on the product listing.
All products are sold subject to the original manufacturer’s warranty, if any.
All warranty coverage, claim approval, replacement, or remedy decisions are solely determined by the manufacturer.
2. MANUFACTURER WARRANTY ONLY
Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, all warranty claims must be handled directly with the product manufacturer.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Batteries (LiPo, LiHV, and all lithium-based batteries)
- Chargers and charging accessories
- ESCs and power systems
- Motors
- Servos
- Flight controllers
- Radios and transmitters
- Receivers
- BECs, regulators, and electronic accessories
New England RC LLC does not guarantee that any manufacturer will approve, honor, or expedite a warranty claim.
3. NO STORE WARRANTY
New England RC LLC does not provide:
- Store-backed warranty coverage
- Guaranteed replacement periods
- Advance replacement service
- Guaranteed troubleshooting resolution
- Guaranteed manufacturer claim approval
Any support provided is courtesy only and does not create any warranty obligation.
4. NO DOA OR ADVANCE REPLACEMENT GUARANTEE
We do not offer guaranteed “dead on arrival” (DOA) replacement or immediate swap service.
If a product is defective or non-functioning, the customer must follow the manufacturer’s warranty process.
Where required by applicable law, we will provide a remedy consistent with Massachusetts consumer protection laws.
5. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY
The customer is solely responsible for:
- Verifying compatibility prior to purchase
- Proper installation, setup, configuration, and programming
- Following all manuals, warnings, and manufacturer instructions
- Safe charging, handling, and storage of batteries
- Operating products only within intended specifications
Improper setup, configuration, or use is not a product defect and is not the responsibility of New England RC LLC.
6. BATTERIES AND HIGH-RISK PRODUCTS
Batteries and high-performance electronic components are inherently hazardous.
They may cause:
- Fire
- Thermal runaway
- Property damage
- Personal injury or death
By purchasing and using these products, you acknowledge and accept all risks.
The customer is solely responsible for:
- Proper charging (including correct voltage and charger settings)
- Monitoring temperature and voltage during use
- Safe storage (including storage voltage and fire-safe environments)
- Proper installation and wiring
- Operation within manufacturer specifications
All battery-related issues, including but not limited to:
- Swelling
- Performance degradation
- Charging failure
- Overheating
- Thermal events
must be handled directly with the manufacturer where applicable.
New England RC LLC does not provide warranty, replacement, or refunds for batteries except where required by law.
7. LiHV (4.35V) BATTERY NOTICE
LiHV batteries are high-performance products requiring stricter voltage and temperature management than standard LiPo batteries.
By purchasing LiHV batteries, you acknowledge:
- You understand the additional risks and handling requirements
- Improper use may result in overheating, reduced lifespan, or failure
- You have reviewed the LiHV Battery Disclaimer and Usage Guide
If you do not understand these requirements, you agree not to use these products.
8. WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS
Manufacturer warranty may be voided by, and New England RC LLC is not responsible for, issues arising from:
- Misuse or abuse
- Crash damage
- Improper charging
- Improper storage
- Over-discharge or overcharging
- Reverse polarity
- Physical damage
- Soldering damage
- Modified wiring or connectors
- Use with incompatible products
- Improper installation or configuration
- Unauthorized repairs or modifications
- Use outside intended RC hobby applications
New England RC LLC does not determine warranty eligibility.
9. LIMITATION OF RESPONSIBILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, New England RC LLC shall not be liable for:
- Manufacturer defects or failures
- Denied or delayed warranty claims
- Improper installation, configuration, or use
- Damage to other equipment or property
- Loss of use or downtime
- Personal injury or death
- Fire or battery-related incidents
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Any assistance provided does not create liability or warranty obligation.
10. COURTESY ASSISTANCE
At our sole discretion, we may assist by:
- Providing manufacturer contact information
- Forwarding issue details
- Offering limited troubleshooting guidance
This assistance is voluntary and may be discontinued at any time.
11. FINAL SALE ITEMS
This Warranty Policy works in conjunction with our Return Policy.
All electronics and batteries are final sale unless required otherwise by law.
The customer’s sole remedy, if any, is through the manufacturer warranty.
12. POLICY UPDATES
We reserve the right to update this policy at any time without prior notice.
