Beacon Adhesives Foam-Tac Flexible Foam Glue

Beacon Adhesives Foam-Tac is a flexible, clear-drying adhesive for building and repairing foam RC aircraft. It bonds many foam types as well as carbon fiber, balsa, plywood, plastics, cardboard, cork, fabric, and canvas.

The updated formula includes UV blockers to help reduce yellowing or degradation in sunlight, plus an adhesion promoter for a stronger, more durable bond. Foam-Tac remains flexible and does not foam as it cures.

Great For

Foam airplane construction and repair, motor mounts, control horns and rods, servo installation, securing wires, and bonding control surfaces directly to an airframe.

Materials

Foam including Depron, BlueCor, Styrofoam, smooth and rough foam; carbon fiber; balsa; plywood; plastics; cardboard; cork; fabric; and canvas.

Directions

Make sure both surfaces are clean and dry. Spread glue evenly on both sides and let it air-dry for a few seconds. Press the surfaces together, then pull them apart. Wait a few seconds, press together again, and pull apart. After a few more seconds, press firmly together for a permanent bond.

Cure Time

Maximum bond strength is achieved within 24 hours or less.
