The Egodrift Tengu 4025EC Eclipse combines a custom 40 mm stator with tailored arc magnets in a motor platform suited to 500–550 class RC helicopters and selected F3A drive applications.

For helicopter builders, the 1080Kv winding provides a 6S option in the shorter 4025 motor size. Select your winding, shaft configuration, and pinion to suit the installation and target head speed.

OMP M5 — Motor Size Guidance

The 4025 size is our recommended maximum motor size for clearance beneath the OMP M5’s standard canopy. The larger Tengu 4030EC Eclipse interferes with the canopy.

Choose the 1080Kv winding for a suitably geared 6S build. Confirm mounting-hole alignment, shaft length, pinion engagement, and clearance throughout the installation.

Other 500–550 Class Helicopters

Consider the 4025EC Eclipse where the helicopter calls for a 4025-size motor and its mounting and shaft requirements match. Calculate head speed using the actual main gear and motor pinion fitted to your model.
