The FLYROTOR 280A HV ESC is a high-power electronic speed controller built for 700–800 class RC helicopters and large-scale electric aircraft.
Powered by a 32-bit RISC-V MCU at 120MHz, this ESC is designed for extreme current handling, fast response, and stable governor performance in demanding setups.
With integrated USB-C and Bluetooth, full telemetry support, and a high-output SBEC, this is a serious option for high-voltage, high-power heli builds.

1st, Thank You Paul and Mo (Discord) for getting us an affordable esc with a superior governor! I’m swinging Switch 813’s at 1350 rpm. Punch outs with a HW 260 weren’t very good at 1350. Wild tail swings and unpredictable stalls were constantly hampering a fun experience with a Strike 8.1. I can say that the onboard governor of the FlyRotor 280 is the best I’ve tried! With some 3D tossed in, the highest current I’ve seen is under a hundred at 1850 rpm. That’s above HW and Scorpian. Also, the full RotorFlight programming is easily accessible through the RF lua on your TX! Also, Mo is spot on with feedback and has made updates in a matter of a day or two. What we have is a proprietary relationship with the FlyRotor ESC and any RotorFlight gyro without the pay me now attitude to fix a problem the ESC company made for us in the first place. Great ESC for half the price!
